What are web hosting resellers? Resellers are individuals or companies who want to sell sites on their own without having to maintain server hardware and software. Why does Creative Infusions offer this hosting option? The Reseller option creates new business opportunities and allows both the client and Creative Infusions to expand their customer base with minimum interaction. Does Creative Infusions supply tech support to our clients? In a word, "No." You are responsible to provide support to the end-customer. We provide support to you. If there is a server level issue that is out of your control we will gladly handle that for you. What is Creative Infusions role as a host for resellers? Creative Infusions allocates a fixed number of sites, disk quota and the number of mail users that you may create. We handle all security updates and modifications to the server as needed. We keep everything running. Are all of our clients required to have the same sized web site? No. You may allocated in any fashion you desire: 5 megs to one client 638 megs to the next, etc. How aften are back ups made? Local system backups are scheduled to process Sunday mornings at 4am EST. Off system backups commense at 8am EST Sunday mornings. What are the main differences between a reseller and Creative Infusions web hosting? We have access to all sites on a server, you are locked into your own accounts. We can start and stop services on the server, you may not. Other than that resellers have their own administrative control panel where they can log on and maintain their customers. Does Creative Infusions prevent data theft? Yes. Our servers are configured in such a way where even every user of an individual domain is locked down to only his area. Even within the same domain a user will not have access to all the files in that domain unless the site administrator gives him access via a site level username and password. All security features are in place to ensure cross domain data snatching is not possible.
